Anyone have any suggestions on how I can cover up the bruises under my eyes and on my neck?  I really to get out of the house and don't want a million questions/stares as to why my neck is all bruised.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions...

My mom had plastic surgery done and she used to wear a scarf or wear a hoodie so it covered her neck.  For her face, she wore a dark pair of sunglasses and a hat . You could hardly notice the bruises.

Good Luck!

LOL - my surgeon says I look like the uni-bomber with my hoodie and sunglasses!!

Maybe I can get the scarf thing to work.....I'll give it try.
Thanks for the ideas!

I used my regular foundation under the eyes on the way home from Monterrey which was about a week out.  I was afraid my husband would freak out when I met him at the airport if I didn't cover it up.  I agree with you about looking like a unibomber.  Lin

With this cooler weather we've been having, what about a turtleneck?

Turtleneck is a GREAT idea.  I'm going to rummage through the bag of clothes I pulled for donation to see if I have one.  Problem is I don't think I have one small enough...I think they are all like size XLg.

I still get a kick out of hearing myself I can't find something in a small enough size...LOL!

Thanks for the great idea Renee!

There is a brand called DermaBlend that is sold online and in stores such as Macy's, Dillard's, etc.

It is meant to cover up all sorts of things, but it can be very heavy.  I wouldn't suggest buying it online because for me I know it took blending two shades to get it to look right.

You might also try using a yellow-tinted concealer under your regular foundation.

Anyhow if it is not a lot better by Sunday I'll sneak out early in the morning and go to a 24hr Walgreen's to get something...

Sephora sells a tattoo cover up by Kat von D.  I am not sure of heavy it would look, but if t can covers tats, I am sure it would do a good job covering bruises!  Good luck!
