Good morning! I am going from lap-band to vsg and have a total of about 100# to lose and am 5'2". I am wondering if there is anyone out there in a smiliar boat who can tell me what you had to have done after the weight loss? I know it is different for each individual but an looking to just gather up some info!

Thanks!

really it will depend on where you carry the weight and if your skin bounces back. I was a pear so my lower body is worse but after losing 100+ my whole body needs help. I am 5'2" and so far my eyes(which didn't work)and my thighs are all I have had done. I am working on getting the tummy approved and saving for neck arms and boobs and butt.

Thanks for your reply! I am kinda round, I guess. Underneath it all I have an hourglass figure but right now I carry the majority of my weight in my mid-section. I guess I will just hope I have enough elasticity left in my skin for it to bounce back. I'll start coco butter treatments now, just to be safe!

Start now documenting any skin issues you have.  It is never too early to start a papertrail to support medical necessity.  Some insurance carriers will cover some plastics if the issues are well documented.  Never treat a rash yourself; always go to a PCP or dermatologist.  That is the only way to get it documented.
