BL/BA implant question . . .
I am scheduled next Friday and was wondering if any of you were told that you have to be careful not to go with too large of an implant when you are having a major lift? Per my surgeon, he will be removing a lot of excess skin (currently have 36 extra longs) and does not want them to look like two big round balls! I have always been a D/DD and really did not want to go smaller. We have settled on gel 360cc implants and I am hoping to be a full D possible DD. He is not comfortable going any larger than that. What do you think???
Probably depends on the amount of breast tissue you have. I was probably a 36 B/C before my surgery. My surgeon used 234cc's and now I'm a full D. I really left it up to him on the size to choose. I just told him about what size I wanted to be and that I wanted to be proportional to my body. Afterward he said there was one other implant just a little larger he could have gone w/ but thought the 234s looked the best. I'm completely happy w/ what I got and wouldn't want to go any bigger. I think that the surgeons have so much experience that they can see what size would be best for you based on what you have requested.

From what I was told, because of the repositioning of the nipple/aerola, you dont want to put too much pressure on that area and surgical incision sites after having the lift....the larger the implant, the more pressure will be placed in that area. It does depend on the amount of tissue that you have and will end up having. For me, I trusted my surgeons opinion regarding this. I went to 3 consults and got the same advice from each.
Good luck with your surg next friday!

My implants are a week old today! They are very sore & burn - bending over is painful. I'm sure it's just because they are healing. I got full D. I used to be DD. I had so much excess skin. Dr Sauceda said if i didn't get implant my left would have been full C, while my right a small B!! I'm glad I got them. I was excited 2 days ago when I saw that my nipples work in the cold! Good luck on you decision.

At my heaviest I was a full D. After I lost the weight I was a VERY saggy and deflated B. I had a BL/BA in July and have moderate plus silicone 450's. I love them! I think though your body will determine what is the best for you and I would trust what the surgeon says. Good luck!
