Can you give me the contact information for Dr. Sauceda?  I think I might look into it.  Also, did you package there include air and hotel expenses?

The most I would have had available for plastics was around 16k and in PA the surgeon quoted me around 29k which was for a LBL w/ Anchor, Arms, BA/BL...With Dr S. I am having a Extended TT w/ Anchor, Arms, BA/BL and paying less than 12k... If I had to have it done local I would only be able to afford the arms and breast and my tummy is horrible... I am really looking forward to going to Mexico in April...good luck with your research.

Thank everyone for your responses. It gives me a lot to think about. I really want to have this done. Going to Mexico isn't an option for me because I can't get that much time off work. I will have to do more research on how to finance all of this.

You will have to take the time off work to have the surgery.  You can get disability for the time off, most of the time.  Where there is a will, there is a way!

Regardless of where you have your surgery, you will have to take time off of work to heal.  It's just the way it is.

I spent 14 days in Mexico and more at home - I couldn't have returned to work earlier than 6 weeks.

Your body is put through major surgery - time off is required.

Check your insurance plan to see if their is a difference between cosmetic surgery and reconstructive surgery.  Then start thinking of your surgery as reconstructive and see if you can fight for it that way.
