I am 2 weeks out from a lbl and bl no implants. I am not gonna lie, it was tough until the drains came out for me. Then everyday I seem to get better, drains out for me at 1 week. I slept on the couch, pillows propped under my back and knees. I didn't want to use a lift chair, I still don't think for me it is necessary. I also worked out and think it helped with my recovery. I didn't need muscle tightening either. Just keep up on your meds, relax, and really take it easy. I am so thrilled I did this, the results so far are amazing. Good Luck, you will do great!

Thank you so much for your input...I think the working out part for me is going to help my recovery....I keep doing major ab work hoping the doc won't need to tighten my ab muscles to much :-) I plan to keep medicated for sure. Once again I appreciate your words of advice :-)

Hi!
I had no problems after my TT and Breast Lift.
I went in healthy, loaded on up on protein pre and post op and I had one of my best/easiest recoveries.
The muscle tightening causes an "uncomfortable" feeling but it really wasn't painful for me.  By day 2 I was able to get up and down by myself and After 2 or 3 night in the recliner chair (not a lift chair) I went to bed and had no trouble......I just propped myself up with lots of pillows.

I have a lot of details posted on my BLOG about the whole pre/post TT experience...feel free to give it a look.

Let me know if you have more questions...

This is all good stuff to hear. Hopefully I will be a quick healer. After my sleeve surgery, I couldn't wait to get home, and was cleaning house that night. I know this will be harder....but I am determined to get moving as quick as possible. The hardest thing is going to be not working out (extensively) for 4-6weeks. It is so hard to get back to working out once you stop for that long.
