At what point in your journey did you begin looking into PS?  I have lost about 110lbs and wish to lose maybe another 25lbs realistically.  I am almost 46 years old and have yo-yo dieted for most of my adult life, gaining the most weight around 12 years ago.  I had 2 vertical C-sections, an apendectomy an abdominal exploratory surgery in addition to lap band.  So needless to say my tummy is "a mess".  In addition, my neck is quite hangy, making me look a lot older.  Does the skin on the neck tighten some as I've heard that it can take up to 18 months after weight loss to see skin recover.  Basically, the face/neck are my biggist complaint right now b/c I can't hide them like my torso.  Is it too premature to begin looking into PS solutions? I love seeing the weight loss, but hate the look of my neck and lower face.
Sorry so long and rambly.

I started thinking about plastics when I was about a year out from my weight loss surgery. I did a lot of reading and researching for several months before I actually went on consults. I was 18 months out from surgery when I had my first procedure and my weight had been stable for 6 months or more.. I think the most important thing to consider is being at goal and maintaining there for several months. If you have surgery and continue to lose more weight it can change your results.

I am a year out and began visiting surgeons right at my 1yr anniversary. BUT - I am at a stable weight and ve been for a couple months now (with the usual 5lb fluctuation of water weight). Im still about 20lbs from goal but I also think that my hanging skin  might account for at least HALF. So....if you still have 25lbs to go and you are STILL losing - why not give it another month or two first and see if you drop that weight. I would hate for you to get tucked and then lose the weight!
Either way - I do NOT think (though I could be wrong) that your neck or face would get any loser for 25lbs so maybe look into that part first?

Hopefully the ladies on the board can give you some good advice! Im still new to this myself!
