Surgery date with Dr. Sauceda!

I got an email today from Dr. S offering me the date of April 15. I accepted! OMG! It seems unreal!
I'm still trying to decide whether or not to go with gluteal implants but so far I am definitely having a LBL, inner thigh lift,  and BL/BA. I know my arms definitely show the effects of massive weight loss but I honestly can live with it for now. I'm going to do a "wait and see" with my arms. They are honestly not that bad. I'm planning on having some dentistry work and whitening done during my stay. Now I just need to start thinking about breast implant size.

That is awesome! I know what you mean about the unreal part - I am 2 1/2 weeks away from my TT and BL/BA. I have not completely decided on saline versus silicone! Good Luck and congratulations, you deserve it!

Please post your date on Sauceda's forum at http://www.obesityhelp.com/group/Dr_Sauceda_Patients/
There is a permanant sticky at the top of the discussion threads that the leaders update fairly often. It lets you see who will be there at the same time as you.

Best of luck with surgery!  Do your homework about the dental work.  Whitening is fine, but I have seen some really unfortunate restorative (fillings) and crown and bridge come out of Mexico.  I would not hesitate to let Dr. Sauceda do my plastics, but would be very careful about dentistry.  What do you need done?  Good luck, no matter what you decide!  (By the way, I am a dentist--that's why I have a strong opinion:-)

I've been researching the dentist that Dr. S highly recommends. Several people have posted that they or those that traveled with them received excellent dental care. They've received bridgework, crowns, and even dental implants and so far, Dr. Ramirez looks very promising. The fact that Dr. S recommends him so highly is a huge positive for me.
I'm deciding on implant size. I'm a runner and so don't want DDs or anything like that but I'm considering a large C or D. I'm just very undecided about the gluteal implants. Wish I had more input from those that have received these implants.

Hi I'm a recent Dr. Sauceda patient and you are in good hands.  Are you sure it's gluteal implants he is recommending and not fat grafting for a buttock augmentation?  I had fat grafting for a butt augmentation and at first I thought my butt was too big but it has gone down and is now a nicely rounded.  May I ask why you want implants vs. using your own fat for a butt aug?  I know several of us (Dr. S patients) who have had the fat grafting Brazilian butt lifts who would be happy to share out experiences but haven't heard of anyone who had implants.

It was definitely gluteal implants. I'm assuming I'm not a good candidate for fat grafting because I do have very little fat left on my body and my butt would need a lot--it's positively concave!

Ah yes, after I wrote this found another post where you said that.  And with 19% body fat you really don't have much to spare!  I'll bet the implants will give you a great result.  I'll be following you to see how you like them if you get them.  The only concern I'd have with implants (assuming they are the gummy bear and can't leak) is can you feel them when you sit.  I can feel my breast implants when I lay on my stomach but they are over the muscle and it's getting better as time goes by.  I'm guessing under the muscle implants in the buttock might make a difference in feeling like you are sitting on two lumps.

I am going to be leaving Monterrey on the 15th of April so will just pass each other at the airport so to speak.
I will probably get dental work with Dr. Ramirez while I'm down there
. About implant size stats show that most women that have them done wish that they had went a size larger.
