Endoscopic Forehead lift aka brow lift

So it looks like I'll be having a Brow Lift (aka forehead lift).  It will be done Endoscopically and the brows will be lifted and held with "endotines".

Anyone else had this done?  I'm a little freaked out about having these endotines under my skin until they dissolve (which could take 6 months).

Do you end up with a massive headache for a while post-op?

Any advice is appreciated.....Thanks

(Hope my eyebrows don't end up looking like the question marks over the smile face icon...LOL)

I've not had this done, but a friend loved hers, and the headache wasn't too bad.  This link will take you to a site to watch it on video, if that helps, or you can look for it on you tube as well.  This is my plastic surgeon doing the procedure - DJ Lee.  http://xnet.kp.org/misg/procedures/plastic.html

The You Tube site is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7y_2xGTgF2k  I think it is the same video - one uses windows media and the other is on you tube.

My friends eyebrows look fine, just lifted, and refreshed.

Thanks I checked out the video.

Hopefully this time tomorrow I want me in too much pain..........I won't look "refreshed" for a couple weeks but can't wait to see the results.

I love this procedure.  Really very little discomfort and I've had no problem witht the tines absorbing.

Thanks Doctor, I appreciate your input.  I'm just hoping the tines don't poke through my skin and that they don't feel to gross when I touch my head.

I'll be sure to post after wards to share with the forum how it all felt as the patient.

Thanks again

There are several types of tines that can be used, for varying skin thicknesses. Your surgeon wll no doubt pick the one best for you !

OH, good know it's not one-size fits all.  Thanks for clarifying that.
I trust my surgeon implicitly, I'm sure he'll pick the best one.
Thanks!!!
