Breast Lift after Breast Reduction

I had a breast reduction about 6 years ago before I became obese. I was just overweight at the time which for me was about 225. From that point I ballooned up to my highest weight of 314 and now after RNY I am back down to 170 (my goal is 165, I'm 5'8.5". My breasts have shrunk of course but I am still a full D cup. The lift effect that I got from the initial reduction is barely there anymore. I think I want a lift but from what I am reading an augmentation might be better. I don't want to be bigger. I just want my breast to stay up on my chest when I lay down instead of falling to the sides toward my arm pits. I am currently scheduled for a panni and tummy tuck but I am wonder if it would be best to go ahead and get my breasts done too. I think I would save money in the long run but is that too much surgery for a doc to do at one time? Do I need a lift or would an augmentation with a very small implant get me the effect i want?

YES, they can do the lift and tummy tuck all at the same time and that is what i would suggest. I scheduled today for my surgery....breast lift with implants and a tummy tuck, feb 24....can't wait!

Yanno, the tummy tuck pulls in one direction and the breast lift in the other?

You can have them done in one procedure but many plastic surgeons (including mine) don't recommend it.  Doesn't hurt to ask your plastic surgeon, though.

I just had a lbl and bl, my breasts look fantastic. They do the tt first and then set your breast so there is no pulling them down. I wanted to get the operation over and done in one session. Best decision I have ever made. Good Luck!
