The TT was way more painful than I thought it would be, BUT I would do it again in a heartbeat!!!  Good luck in whatever you decide!!!

Actually, the post-op pain following my tummy tuck was negligible.  Although I do, apparently, have a higher tolerance to pain than many.

You don't really know when you are going to have kids but you do know that a mini-tuck can be done at that time.  Heck, you can have it done at the time of delivery, if you have a C-section.

You've already paid for the tummy tuck and the only reason you didn't have it was due to the green mucus.  You are already enthused about the likely results.  I don't want to push you into having a procedure but you were already there!

Ultimately, you need to follow your instincs on this one.

I would definitely get the tt done, given the money savings and the fact you will be waiting several years to have children. Why not enjoy having a beautiful tummy and feeling really good about yourself before you delve into the world where our children become  the focus for many years. It will be harder and more expensive to do later....I had a lower body lift and breast lift together. Recovery was slow for me, because I really didn't push myself, but the pain wasn't bad....The worst part for me was the first 3-7 days where I had to walk bent over. The medication you can take to ease the pain really does the job.....One other suggestion is to ask specifically for ps patients to respond who had had a tt and then had children.....Best of luck...
