How did you feel days after a bl/ba????
I had BL/BA with brachioplasty and a bit of lipo in the upper abdomen. It was the easiest of the plastic surgeries that I had. I didn't drive right away because of the arm incisions of course, but pain and recovery-wise, I think you'll be amazed.
As for stitches, it depends on what type of lift you are getting. I had what I think is called an anchor incision where there is a cut around the areola then down vertically to the crease and along that crease in both directions. All my sutures were internal except for a couple along the crease where the bottom of the anchor came together (if that makes sense). They were only in for a short amount of time.

Jennifer,
I am 3 weeks post-op today from BL/BA and I felt great about 3 days after. Just remember that on the first day right after your surgery they put a numbing agent on you so that you really don't feel too much of the pain and I tended to over do it on some things and I was paying for it the next day but as long as you keep up with your pain meds you will be fine. I have plenty of pre and post op pictures on my profile so feel free to check them out. You have to be my friend to view them so just send me a friend request and the password is: PWILLOWS.
I'm a week and a half out from BL/BA and brachio...PIECE OF CAKE!! You'll need someone with you the first 24 hours because you won't be able to keep your eyes open. Day two..sore....day three, feeling great! You'll be limited on what you can lift, and mobility is stiff but it's more of an inconvenience than anything. It really hasn't been bad at all. I went back for follow up yesterday and got great reviews...just remember that you'll be a bit numb and it's easy to over do things...take it easy. Good luck! :)
