Hi!
Thanks for the response...
I had a TYPO in my message.....
I meant to ask
How do you wash your face after the facelift (not how do you face your face...LOL) . I've corrected the error.

I was able to wash my hair two days after I got home....was so nervous. Lots of dried blood and scared it was going to hurt. It actually felt wonderful to have the warm water pouring over the incisions. I have to tell you, I was forever cleaning dried blood out of my ears and if you can think about it, ask your surgeon to place cotton in the ear canals pre-operatively so that the blood doesnt drain down in there!!
My first attempt with the hairwashing was done in the tub....I sat down and let my daughter help me with the rinsing and shampooing as she lightly used a comb to pick thru some of the dried blood that wouldnt rinse out. Putting conditioner on the dried blood will help it loosen more easily. Once I was all lathered up, I stood in the shower and rinsed everything off. Sitting down in the tub just made it easier for her to help.

Hi!
That's a great tip about the cotton in the ears.......I'll add it to my list of things to discuss with the surgeon on Friday. THANKS!

Hi Gail,
Yep it all kind of happened very fast........I'm doing it on Monday....less than a week....yikes!
Getting more excited now and a little less nervous.
Did you book a date for your arms?

Hi Susan,
Thanks on the picture.....
Yeah, suddenly it dawned on me that washing the hair and washing the face could be a challenge... ..guess we'll know soon enough.
I'm starting to get less nervous and more excited about this.... how about you?
Ruth
