Cost of Tummy tuck, implants and lift
Can anyone tell me if they had all three of these done at the same time and what the cost was?
Im getting the panni paid by insurance. Im including a tummy tuck and I thought since they were there I would see about the breast implants and lift. So Im surious as to what others paid for the TT, breasts and lift.
Also, did you get silicone or saline and why did you choose that kind?
Thanks,
Michelle

Michelle:
I have recently had the surgery (BA/BL and anchor TT) with insurance approval for panni removal. my total out of pocket cost was around 5K, including surgeon, anesthesia, overnight stay and implant fee. I went thru the resident program at a local hospital in boston and saved thousands. I received excellent care and continue to receive excellent follow up care.
As for the silicone vs saline, I chose silicone. I researched this to death and one of the sites that helped me make my decision was www.makemeheal.com. There are several out there that should be helpful to you regarding this issue. There are definate pros and cons for both implants, so it comes down to a personal decision based on what you eventually want for looks, feel, follow-up etc. I think the thing that swayed me more than anything was the fact that the women that had initially gotten saline implants then switched to silicone said there was no comparision between the two as far as how they look and feel. They loved the silicone and were very happy, but again, it comes down to personal choice. The other issue is where they will be placed and the size. For me, I had 500cc silicone under the muscle. So far, Im extremely satisfied with the results and they are fabulous looking, getting better everyday. With my TT and implants, I now have curves for the first time in my life....its about time at 51!!
Im sure that not matter what you decide, you will be happy with the outcome. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions that I can answer for you.
Good luck and keep us posted!
