Should I chance annoying my PS before surgery?

I know Dr. Sauceda is very, very, very busy. This is why I just wait for his e-mails. But I keep having more questions and so more e-mails. I wonder if he is thinking when he checks his inbox "God, not her again" One thing is for sure, I don't want to irritate the man who will be operatig on me. Should I just chill with the questions about price and procedures and scheduling and faciilities for a while?

Dr. Sauceda is an incredible man.  He always encouraged me to ask what ever questions I had.  So I would not worry about annoying him, it just may take him a lil longer to reply now that we have him so busy.  You need to ask the questions to be educated on what is going to happen to your body and to be comfortable and relaxed with his skill and knowledge.  If something doesn't sit right...  always ask and clarify.  He's a wonderful man.  You will see   :)

Don't know the man -- but if you are emailing a lot -- what you might want to do is to start writing your email and then waiting to send it -- say waiting a couple of hours or till the end of the day.  If you have thought of another question add it to that email.  You will get your questions answered but you will not seem pesky.  Now if you were a post-op having medical issues it would be different .

Hi there!  Dr S and I emailed back and forth over 60 times, so you are definitely not going to annoy him.  He is fantastic, patient, and he always said that he want us to ask anything I was worried about   He is a very very nice and kind man.

I email him a lot as well and will not stop until I have no more questions or concerns...But I would try to save my thoughts and then email him once each week.

From what I've heard about Dr. Sauceda on here, he's not annoyed.  After all, he is professional and he will do the best job he can regardless - his work is his advertising.  But if it's bothering you, try to gather your thoughts to put them in one email.

I emailed him a lot too. It's natural. I did try to condense it into one email here and there.

I try to limit my emails as well, but he's always answered my questions within a day. I have found that the Dr. S message board is a really great place to get lots of answers from people who have been through the process already, they really are a wealth of information and have eased most of anxieties, I'm scheduled for 2/27!

We all emailed him a lot.  What he wants most if for you to have your questions answered and be sure you are prepared and have realistic expectations for your surgery.
