I am just starting to look into plastics and was wondering about the cost. I am open to going to MX and live in San Diego. I would LOVE to have either a TT or a LBL and BL and BA. Maybe my arms and possibly a small inner thigh lift. I understand prices can vary from patient to patient but we have 5 kids and don't make a ton of money so I am trying to get an idea of how much we will need to be saving up. Thank you!!!

Tami,

I went to Dr Sauceda in Monterrey, MX, and I am very pleased with my results!  I had a LBL, BL/BA with silicon implants, small/medial thigh lift, and lipo to my neck, back, sides, tummy, hips, and outer thighs with fat transferred to my butt.  My cost was $14,000, and that included transportation to and from the airport and clinc, hotel stay in a Hampton Inn (very nice), 2 sets of compression gaments, 4 day clinic stay including food, medications, and even $600 reimbursed to me for my plane ticket.  He will reimburse up to $600 for your ticket.  I have pictures on my blog at www.livingtheskinnylife.blogspot.com   I you look at the labels down at the bottom right on my blog and look for post op, Dr Sauceda, Monterrey, and plastic surgery, and that will take you directly to those blogposts  I also have pictures on my OH profile, but you need to be a friend to see them.  If you would like to see them, please friend me, and I will give you the passwords.

Good luck on your search!

You might also want to check into one of the Resident Training Programs.  There are several people who post here who have used them and are very pleased.  If you have any insurance at all, I think it is worth a shot to see if you can get any coverage.  What is the worse that could happen?

The American Society of Plastic Surgeons publishes average surgeons fees on their website.  But remember these numbers are averages -- so the price you pay may be very different.  Also these numbers do not include facility/hospital charges, anesthesia, pathology or any other charges.    http://www.plasticsurgery.org/Media/Press_Kits/Procedural_St atistics.html
