I am going to my TT consult tomorrow. This is the doctor my insurance is sending me to Although he is amazing, the doctor does not do implants only lifts. Here is my question: Can I just get the girls done now and get my TT in March??? Or will it cause problems making my boobs look saggy???? Thanks for all your help.

They are two completely separate procedures. One will not affect the other.

Actually, you should get the TT done first because it will have the effect of pulling your boobs down a bit or have them done together.

Words of wisdom to me from my plastic surgeon, although, in my case, I had a breast reduction and lift.

Thank you for your response I was thinking the same thing. I don't want to waste my money. I was told by someone that it would pull the boobs down. That makes since to have the tummy done first.

I think there are 2 school of thoughts on this.  I know some of the surgeons I met with wouldn't do the BL and LBL together because of the tension being pulled in opposite directions and others had no problem with it.  I personally didn't have a problem or healing issues doing them together at all so I would think doing them separately would be even better and much easier.  By the time you do the TT you will be totally healed so if that's what you want to do first, then go for it.

So this pulling down theory is unproven? I contacted both of my surgeons, I will see one today face to face,The other doctor just got my email about this question. It bothers me to think that I can possibly cause a neg result (ie breast implants first). A veteran plastics patient mentioned to me yesterday that I should never do my breasts before my tummy. That is what sparked this post. Thank you for all of your responses it really helps.

Dear Jennifer,

I recommend that if you are going to have separate procedures, do the abdominal surgery first. If you have the breast procedure first, the shape may change if you have a tummy tuck later due to the downward pull.
