I am sure everyone have seen the commercials for Jenny Craig and Nutri-System were they show someone who weighs at least 200 pounds saying they lost 28 pounds and they look slim and trim. Are you kidding me; every time I see those commercials I just want to say stop lying. There is no way you can lose 28 pounds and look like you weight 140 lbs. instantly.
My other gripe is people saying they lost 20, 30, or 40 lbs. and they are in a bathing suit with no fat hanging from anywhere. I have nothing against any of the weight loss programs (I tried them all over the years), but I would love for them to tell the truth. Even the contestants on the Biggest Loser show will admit to having plastic surgery after losing their weight. What's wrong with telling the consumers the who truth about weight loss.
Just my way to let off some steam, thanks for listening!

I agree! I saw one of those ads yesterday... the woman was talking about how she took her 'kids" to the swimming pool and she "wasn't ashamed at all!" I can guarantee that woman never had kids (probably never had sex, either. She looked pretty uptight.) She had washboard abs and a Sports Illustrated model body. Yeah, OK. If the advertisers had chosen a person who was slightly more realistic and relatable, I could have ignored the ad... but instead I had to shut the TV off!
