TT and bat wing revision

Hi there!  Has anyone had to have a revision on their TT and/or arms?  I still have hanging skin in the middle below the belly button.  He is also going to do some lipo on the upper tummy.  In addition, one arm is still floppy so he is going to take more skin.  I had lost a total of 173 lbs.  I want to have more surgery as money and work schedule allow.  Do you think needing the revision is a reflection on my surgeon's skill?  Should I look around for another surgeon?  He is doing the revision at no charge and seems to be very knowledgeable and has a great bed side manner.  I really like him.  Would appreciate anyone sharing their thoughts.  Hugs!  Vicki

I am schedule for a revision to my tt and bl/ba (8/24/09) on Feb. 26th.  I don't think the revision is a reflection on my surgeon skills at all.  It was explained to me this way; when you lose a large amount of weight, sometimes it's hard to remove all the fat/skin you want removed at once.  My surgeon actually stated he prefer to have taken less skin off than too much, because it's harder to revise when there's less to work with (he was referring to my lower belly and the mons area).  There are a lot of people on this website who had a revision to their surgery.

Good luck with your decision.
