What other kids? That's mainly it? Mine cause fungal infections and yeast accumulation and the line between the thin skin and panni often bled because it was SO thin.

ok- especially in the summer, I call them my "fat girl rashes"- my husband hates it when I say that!!  LOL

but I would say most of us formerly obese people have issues with the panni! :)

My panni caused me back pain as well as pulling on the front. The pulling on the front seemed to aggrevate the scar tissue I had around my belly button from a hernia repair they did during my RNY surgery. The panni also hung and put pressure on the mons area that caused sebaceous cysts in the mons area. I also told my insurance that the panni was also keeping me from furthering my exercise progress.

I actually didn't have any rashes or major skin breakdown (however my surgeon told them I did, maybe I didn't notice too much) but w/ what I listed above my insurance approved my panni removal after my 1st appeal.

The hanging skin pulled on my hernia repair which had scar tissue attached to my  intestines . This caused a kink and after a trip to the ER I scheduled the OR. Not a bad surgery but the attack was horrible. I am telling my insurance this when I apply fr approval of my panni removal. I hope it helps get me approved.
