I keep seeing everyone post about.  Can someone link me to one?  And to catch up on my story since I am a horrible poster...Had LBL and BL and now TL.  Was scheduled for Dec 28th but my band slipped and it had to be replaced asap (of all the times!!).  So ..looking for all advice on post op care.  I will be having knee to groin but NO lipo.   I see that walking, sitting, standing..ok pretty much everything is difficult but the bathroom is a big challenge.  Was showering ok?

showering was no problem at all.

you can get a toilet seat riser at Longs or a Freshette that allows you to urinate standing up at Freshette.com

Thanks for posting about this Freshette, I just looked it up.  I had heard of something like this but never have seen it.  I do a lot of sports/travel etc and think I might have to invest in this !

I agree!  Been a couple of long hikes I wish I had it as easy as boys.  I will be able to use it for that if nothing else!

I had the same thing in Dec and was able to use the toilet just fine. Getting up and down anywhere was the hard part. If you are short a toilet riser makes it worse. I would try to avoid it if you can. Without having lipo it wasn't bad for me. I was surprised. Hopefully it will go smooth for you and you will do great.

sitting for me the first couple of days was tough. I managed but it wasn't the most comfortable. You'll have a hard time if you are like me and bandaged up all the way to the groin. The concern was not getting the bandages wet.  I agree w/ the other poster that if you are short the raised toilet seat doesn't help, in fact may be worse since you end up dangling from the seat w/ all your weight on your thighs. The other thing is something to look into, not having to sit would have been nice the first few days.

I am 5'6 but have a VERY long Femur bone.  I am actually worried about that.  Although ..coach says it makes me a good sprinter...LOL!
