Wow- the things some people say...
A co-worker found out I am having ps, although she didn't know what I am having done. She stopped to talk to me and said, "So are you having your face and eyes lifted?" I was kind of speechless for a moment, because for my age (48), I didn't think my face or eyes are too bad yet. I just kind of mumbled I was having a lbl and left it at that. I know she didn't realize how rude that came out, but I hadn't even given the slightest thought to having my face and eyes done.
Just had to rant a little here where I know you all would probably understand. Putting on my thick skin right now.

Keep that thick skin on woman, you will probably need it at work after the surgery too Aren't people just mind boggling sometimes.
I know they don't mean harm, but their little stabs hurt! I just looked at your pictures and I think your face and eyes look great!!!! Just keep remembering this co-worker when you can tuck in your shirts with a cute belt, and have a truly FLAT stomach. It is a wonderful feeling.

Oh Shelly -- I so know where you're coming from.
Last week, a coworker (who I don't know well) walked up to me out of the blue and said, "Wow, you've had a LOT of work done!!! You look like you're ready to hit the dating scene. Are you???"
I was floored. First of all, I have not had "a lot of work done," I had a pannus removed. And, I am very happily married, thank you veddy much ... the idea of a "dating scene" is pretty repugnant to me!
I'll admit that I looked real different after straightening my hair ... but give me a break!!! A LOT of work done!!! Yikes!
I think it's the talk-show mentality. Everything is up for grabs! And every topic is okay, with whomever. Blah!
