Dear Tasha,

It is possible for your insurance to cover a revision. The criteria for revision include the same criteria needed the surgery in the first place: chronic infection, rashes, wound issues, hygiene issues due to excess skin etc...

Did you have a complication after the procedure?

The first step is to have your PS office submit a pre-auth to your insurance company with the proper documentation.

Good Luck!

Sincerely,

Thank you for responding. I sent you a PM.

I had my panni removed in 2004 BEFORE WLS.

I have been having lower back pain when I exercise. My dr said it is exercise induced pain. I guess which could be good for insurance documentation?
