Question on shape after TT
Ok, I have a question. I had my TT on Dec. 3rd. I apparently had a lot of muscle repair done and I still have pain if I try to do sit ups, when I sneeze or cough right under my rib cage. Everything looks really good, but now I can do exercise and it seems like my bottom is getting smaller and my top is all flabby. I tried on jeans today and looked great in a size 2 (HOLY COW!!) but then I had a muffin top. But the size 4's were all saggy in the butt...*sigh* I know this is just a silly thing to complain about with all going on in the world and a year ago I was in a size 22. I am just wondering if anyone else had issues where their shape kinda changed like this after a TT? I am hoping once I can do abdominal exercises then I can shape up the top part!! LOL Ok, thanks for listening and for any feedback.
Are you referring to skin like above the belly button? Did your tummy tuck include an anchor cut? The only way I knew I would be rid of that muffin top was to have the vertical cut to pull that skin down and also in from the sides. I'm not sure if I'm understanding you correctly.
I'm a little over 6 months out from my tummy tuck and my muscles are still very tight. I still feel it when I lie back in the bed or sit up from lying down and when I sneeze. When I'm just standing and relaxed my abs are hard as a rock.

Jennifer, have you tried on below the waist pants? When I tried on jeans that go to waist they fit wierd now but below the waist jeans (like levis 545) the jeans fit better.

Tammy, Thank you!! Iactually tried the low rise today...(which I used to HATE) and they looked better than the traditional fit. Funny!! Although I think I need to stick with the 4's in this style for now. They are still a little big in the toosh and thigh, but they look better in the waist area. I guess it is a trade off. I am going to try to do pics now. Thanks everyone for your input.
Congrats on going from a size 22 to a 2! How amazing is that??
My Dr informed me that people who have lost a lot of weight tend to have skin that will easily stretch out again. This was one of his concerns for me and the weight I had lost due to my gastric surgery. You could be experiencing that situation since you said you were flabby in the upper abdomen.
Good luck with everything.
