I guess  the DIY surgery would not work for me at all since I'm a complete wimp and have to be completely knocked out...lol...would be kinda hard to do my own.....I even use to get the gas for teeth cleaning, but alas. my new dentist ( and last) has changed my fear of that...

Don't worry about being a wimp ... you're only going to be using a tiny X-Acto knife ... and you'll knock yourself out ahead of time with the vodka!

Gotcha covered, babe!

This does remind me of the incredibly stupid woman who wanted to improve her looks, and thought that some "filler" to fill in the lines on her face would do the trick.  She could not afford to go to a plastic surgeon or a dermatologist or even a medical spa, so she thought she would DIY.  She asked her BUTCHER to get some BEEF FAT for the collagen and got some diabetic syringes.  She then  injected her face with the fat she had run through the food processor.  She then required lots of plastic surgery because of the infections and such.

This story was on the LA CBS news a few months ago.  I was in shock as the woman's desperate attempt.  I believe that the plastic surgeon who was needing to clean up that mess was at UCLA.

Hopefully Charming, people will know that you are joking.  I know that I am thankful that I would not have to pull out any of the 21 drains that I've had placed.  I used to work in a back office, and I'm back in nursing school, but I wouldn't want to practice on myself.

I think that desperation moves people to do a great, great many stupid things!  Yikes!

Charming, I absolutely adore your posting! Wish me luck as I leave to go to the hospital for my tummytuck! I sure hope Dr. Mitchel Krieger woodshedded his DIY manual in prep for my procedure!

Don't worry -- He probably hasn't needed a DIY manual in some time ... these days everyone looks things up on YOUTUBE!!!

You'll do great -- good luck, and we'll chat you up when you get back.

I always thought the key to DIY plastic surgery and laser hair removal in one was DUCT TAPE.

I have Lipedema and Lymphedema. I also have a passion for Obesity and Health Insurance Advocacy

Okay then, we throw in a bonus roll of duct tape.  I was thinking that the key to non-surgical breast lift was that French-named device ... what is it ... oh yeah, "brassiere" ... but I think the duct tape will be more economical, multipurpose, and easier for people to use when differentiating their individual needs.

So duct tape, it is!!!
