I am way too active -- but have stuff to do - and need to make sure I don't over due it when I am up and active

but I am totally amazed at how well the TT as gone.

the Pain pump ended on day 7 -- and now 2-3 times a day I take a pain pill or extra strength Tylenol if during the middle of the day and don't want to get sleepy

I am going back to work on Wednesday -- and will expect to be tired -- as that has been the one thing I noticed the most - like soooooo tired (hit by a mac truck tired)

today I sleep until 4pm -- seriously -- woke up and cat napped then zonked back out for 4 hrs

Now if only the 2 drains would come out --- still leaking 25-50cc' -- and don't wonlt remove intil less then 20cc in a 24hr period

Sounds like you are doing good.  I was pretty tired until about 4 weeks PO. I still get tired, but the better I am with my protein, the better I feel.  Good luck with your return to work.  Oh, I also think that once the drains came out I was WAY less tired.  I know that doesnt really make sense, but it was a great feeling to have them gone!! :) Blessings to you!!

I'm so glad that you are doing well!  I was really tired (and still am).  My first week back to work was last week and by Wednesday I need a half day so that I could nap.  Just plan on coming home and going straight to bed!  Definitely plan to take tylenol every four hours and stay on top of it so that you can make it through.

I've been up and around for over a week now - just 5 days post op -- I wish that was not the case - but my mom who lives with us did not lift a finger after day 4 -- so the more I did the less she did.....I think when I go back to work on wednesday (2 weeks post op and kids are in school - I will get more rest at work then at home)

2 times in the past week I asked my mom to plan to take the kids to a movie this weekend so I could read -- Yes she said  ---- so today I took the kids and her to movies and dinner - thanks Mom :-(

don't get me started I could vent all day - but my support system is weak - even thought in her eyes she thinks she's helpful -- she's a fully functioning 73 yr old that drives and walks - but chooses to sit at the kitchen table all day and night reading papers, etc -- and wonders why I get pissed off when she saids she'd going to do something by never follow-thrus on her promises

sorry I digressed -- anyways I take my pain meds at night - and tylenol during the day - but thats a good point on taking it every 4-6 yrs to stay on top of it
