want your thoughts on this
I think these are the things you need to discuss during your consultation. The PS will be able to guide and advise you on what you may or may not need to do. I do know that most PS want you to be maintaining for a certain amount of time b/4 they do any plastics. You will have more answers once you have your consult.
good luck,

Cindy,
What weight is your goal??? Are you happy at your current weight?? The surgeon I used likes one to be about 20lbs over their ideal weight, and the other ps's that I I consulted were okay with that also....but I do know that many want you at your goal weight and holding for several months. Are you going to do just a TT or a LBL??? I agree that the best answer to your question will come from the consultations you have with prospective surgeons....Congratulations on your weight loss...keep up the good work :) Lynette

I had my tt at 150 lbs., I never reached my goal of 138; like you I was the same weight for 6 months before my surgery. If you are comfortable at the weight you are then go for it. If not, then try to lose more before the tt.
Good luck in whatever decision you make.
