Ok....I have not been healing as well I normally do so I decided I'd buy more ProCare (aka procrap). Despite the awful taste I do believe it helped with my healing post op Tummy Tuck. I ordered it on Monday night paid for express shipping and I just received it.
How pissed am I that they sent me a different product. I called the company and they are saying "they only changed the name" and that the product is the same. Well.......I just checked the label and about 80% of the ingredients have changed!!
Has anyone used "the new" product which is supposedly the same as the old surgery product put now called Bariatric Assist??
I'm not sure if I should even bother trying it or just ship it back.
Any input would be appreciate.
Boy I'm having a bad week! It's gotta get better starting tomorrow!!!!

The taste has changed somewhat (not much better but different) but the vitamin doseages changed too. Oh well......guess I'll use it as it is probably better than nothing....at least I hope so.

Hi Summer,
Yes I've used their Bromelian and Arnica Montana many times. Plus with the LBL I used their surgery formula AM/PM vitamins instead of the procare. I might be wrong, it might just be a coincidence but I just did not feel as good going in and definitely not having a good recovery. I'm not saying the product is no good, I just have not had a good recovery while using them.
Hope it works well for you. I do like their other two products and will use them again with my next and last procedure (the bromelian and arnica).

Well, for the $107 that they charge, it should be perfect! Let's hope it works well. Nothing gets me going like not getting what I paid for . My PS also gave me a list of individual vitamins to take, if I didn't want to buy the surgical program, but it would get just as costly.
When I did my neck, I used SinEch(sp??), which really doesn't have much of anything except the Arnica Montana. I felt perfectly fine, but I think that it was such an easy surgery that it didn't tax my body enough for me to have felt badly. Your LBL is MAJOR surgery, and the recuperation is tougher. I'm a little nervous with my surgery right around the corner, and having a hysterectomy at the same time spooked me enough to go for the $. Let see!

It's my understanding that they are both Procare, just one is a new flavor called Bariatric Assist. I've had both versions and drank both and the Bariatric definitely tasted better. I didn't do a stare and compare to the ingredients, but Dr. Agha sent both versions to me interchangeably while I was healing from my procedures.

I like the way you said "stare and compare"...LOL!
I not did the stare and compare I loaded it into an excel spreadsheet.......TOO MANY years as a statistical analysis!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL At least I didn't run some charts and graphs to visually see the changes.
I agree it taste a little, and I mean a little, better.
Thanks for the input
