Pain at drain site?
there may be some tension on the tube. You might try to reposition it in a way that it is not pulling. they hurt like the devil tho!! and yep, it is definately a burning sensation. if you can see the site, make sure that there is not excessive redness or any kind of discharge that could indicate infection. some redness is normal, especially if the drain is being moved around a little.
please make a call to your PS's office and just let them know. that would be the best reasurrance you can get.

Hi, I was in drain hell w/ 4 of them for nearly 3 weeks from LBL and extended thigh lift. I used Lidocaine ointment that I had around from previous issue. I put it right around the drain tube where it exited my body and it numbed the area for hours on end. It was the only way I made it through until they were pulled. (relief)
It is 5% lidocaine and is prescribed by MD.
Good luck
