You are too early out to even know what your final result will be.  Your body still has a lot of healing to do and the swelling varies for each person.  Just because a lot of the women on here have short term swelling and super flat bellies, we are all different.   The swelling actually gets worse before it gets better so don't be to quick to judge just yet!  Be patient.  Most doctors will say to give it 3-6months before things settle and really see improvement.

Thanks. I actually as much as I want a super flat belly can handle some skin - I am just stressing cause you can read about the swelling but until you go through it you just dont' realize how bad it can be. Likewise with the lipo pain but it's much better now.

I really feel like 15 days is too early to see the final result. All of Dr. S's patients have looked wonderful and I think you will too!!! Hang in there.....

Thanks ya'll. I am more worried that the swelling is abnormal as opposed to final result. I was comparing my 2-3 week photos with others 2-3 week photos not so much the final result.

I'm sure you are swollen but...honestly it does look like maybe more than "just" swelling.  I just had dinner with Carol (Sisichi) who is down here in Monterrey for a revision to her TT.  She felt there was way too much of a pouch left over.  She waited 6 months and it didn't resolve so she had a revision.  Just FYI.

Hi Leah,

It is hard to say from a photo, but does it feel like there may be fluid build up in there? It may be a hematoma or seroma. You still had quite a bit of drainage when the drain came out, and fluid may be building up in there. My PS tells me that the body is not very good at taking care of that on it's own. It will heal much better and faster if the fluid is removed.......

Good luck!! You do look great!

Don't compare yourself to other post op pics.. everybody's body is different.  Give it some time.. I think you got a nice little hour glass shape going on... Hang in there ~

Can't offer any advice, but just wanted to let you know that it does look like swelling, and I hope that it all works its way out for you!  You still look great!

Leah,

I think it is swelling.  I have had the same effect on mine, and the worst part of my swelling started week 3 and is just now going away.  I looked like a marshmellow on some days.  I think it is way too early to judge. DId you have any lipo around your belly area?
