Hey y'all, how's everyone doing? How's the first couple of weeks of this new year? Well I had to go back to the docotr yesterday, because I am having problems with my incision, back pain, and some numbness on my left side. Well guys my surgey was indeed a sucess however the excess skin on my arms and the sagging boobs is causing my incision to seperate. The skin is stretching at the incision site thus stopping it from healing properly. I have been scheduled the first available appointment with the plastic surgeon. I thought I would be getting my tummy done first but God has a different plan for me and the plastics. Take care.

I am glad you have a plan. Praying it helps. What incision is it causing problems with?

On Nov 12th they opened my chest like open heart surgery to remove a huge mass. The weight of the excess skin is pulling the incision apart but only in the upper section between my neck and the begining of my boobs. The skin is stretching and very thin. It is painful and I still can't wear a bra. At least I will get some new boobs and perhaps be pain free

Is there not some type of garment you can just buy from Walmart or Target, say, that could help you with the support?  Maybe like a light-weight stretchy tank used to "pull one in" a little bit - you know, they're usually skin toned in color and elasticized.  Or, like a push-up type of bra that brings your two boobs together so there's less pressure on the incision?  I've even seen full "slips" that are like light-wt. girdles that have a built in bra ...

I have tried to wear a bra and a sports bra they all cause pain. I wear underarmor because it is tight fitting and keeps me from flopping around when I go out. I have not been able to wear a bra since my surgery. All tight fitting devices cause pain, sorenss and reddness.
