I have a bunch of before and afters on my profile and my blog.  I had a lower body lift done, and I had lost 105 lbs at the time.  He took off 3 lbs of skin.  I was 265, and I weighed 160 right before surgery.

Thank you so much for sharing this . You are so beautiful and have had wonderful results. Can you tell me how much weight you lost with the TT. I have so much more belly fat then you did mine just hangs and looks so thick.  I am so scared will not be happy with the results and this is all out of pocket we don't have insurance that will cover any of it.  Again thanks so much for all the information.

He took off 3 lbs of skin, 6 lbs with lipo, but he transferred 3 lbs back in to my butt with the far grafting plus I got implants.  I am at the same weight as I was when I went in to surgery,

I started at 310 and am now 181 I can not seem to lose any more it has been 6 months and have had no change in weight. I am very strict in my eating habits and I exercise 5 days a week. I weight what I did in high school I am just wondering if I am at my set point in weight and will not lose more? Don't know if I am jumping the gun with the plastics. I am will not be two years out until July of the year. Please feel free to give advice

I think you will continue to lose, my doc says up until 18 24 months you can expect to lose.. You also may have 10 or 20 lbs of excess skin too.. u have to take that into acct also.. Hang in there You have come so far I bet you will top off at about 150 after its all said and done..

I had an anchor cut tummy tuck and had 3 lbs. of skin removed.  I have lost about 6 lbs. since my plastic surgery.  If you send me a friend request you can then see my before/after pics.

I honestly don't know how much the skin taken off truly weighed...Dr. S guesstimated before surgery it would be 2-3 pounds. And, although I am still swollen, I am already within 3 pounds of my pre-plastics weight..so I have no doubt I've lost a few pounds overall.

As for when you will be ready for plastics...typically you would want to be at a stable weight for at least 6 months and not plan to lose more than a few pounds after surgery; ie: be at/very near goal. Losing any significant weight after surgery can distort your results.

If you'd like to friend me, you can see the pics of my fleur de lis tummy tuck...you'll need a password to see them.
