Oh, I'm sorry that you are having a downer day....It's hard to tell thru the garment, but your butt looks pretty good to me. It's definitely the swelling and thus not giving the look that you will actually end up with.. It's my understandinfg that everything ( boobs too) will drop into place  for 4-6 months. Try to stay positive. I'm wondering if the experience, what we put our bodies thru and the meds you are taking might be causing your depression  or at the very least making you  feel sad... I really think once you start feeling better and swelling goes down, you will be happy that you had your ps....I will keep you in my prayers....Hugs,Lynette

Hi Zoe,  I am sorry you are having a bad day but I do understand it.  You are in another country, alone, in pain, having some less than desireable things happen like no hand washing and no narcotics for pain control post discharge.  And, to top it off, you look in the mirror and your butt looks huge from the swelling.. rest assured, that is enough to freak any one of us out.  I do think it will calm down as the anesthesia gets out of your system and the swelling starts to go down.  I always feel emotional after surgery.  My mom said I yelled at the poor post op nurses when I was in the recovery room after my hysterectomy and she was shocked, I never, ever raise my voice.  I would cry my eyes out if someone made my butt look huge right now, I think its because we worked so HARD to get rid of big butts!!!!!!  You are not out there running marathons and doing triathlons to get bigger!  Best of luck, it will work out over time, the swelling will go away and all will return to the way it should be.  Robin

Thanks for the kind words, I know I'm emotional now but I actually feel like I am remaining calm given what I see in the mirror.

Tamara, take a deep breathe. I promise you alot of that is swelling. I am sure Heather can attest to feeling that our bootys were big and wide at first. I know I did! It will go down. As for the breasts, Kaylyn's pointed down for the first wee****il they dropped into place. By the time she left, they were pointed in the right direction. You need all your energy to heal so try to keep positive that it will all settle into place and swelling will go down eventually.

Good to hear from you gals who gone before me.  I'm wearing a breast strap that Dr. S gave me that is supposed to help the implants drop into place.  I don't know about my booty though.  I had these indents in each cheek from working out and I kind of liked them but he suggested that he fill them in and I didn't say no, which I should have.   Well we will see how it all settles but right now I am trying my best not to panic.

Hey girl!  The swelling DOES go down, PROMISE!  I gave J Lo a run for her money after surgery, and I had a complete flat butt starting out.  How much did you ask for him to put in?  You have a ton of swelling, and I know exactly how you feel.  I was so so so so emotional for at least 10 days after surgery, and every little thing made me want to cry.  It is just part of the emotional healing process.  Your boobs are super swollen and will also change dramatically as well.  I know mine did, and they were huge porn boobs after surgery.  My garment was very tight, and now it is way too big.  The swelling is messing with your mind and how you think you are going to look.  Heck, I am 13 weeks out and just really starting to see how I am going to look without the swelling.  I didn't know a scar could be too low, actually!  I asked for mine to be low.  I have to say though that your waist is TINY!!! Also, it would help if you could put up a before picture to compare it to.

It WILL get better, I promise!!!!

Chin up!

I am going to try and and have faith in you gals who've gone before me that things will change dramatically.  I will send you a picture of my mini tt and I think you'll see why it's too low.  I had larger undies on when he marked me and he said "is there were you wear your bathing suit" and I told him it was lower so to make the scar as low as possible.  Well he did but instead of it extending towards my hips it extends out on my upper thighs.  If it was  half inch higher it would have been perfect.  If we are trying to hide a scar under my bathing suit why would he put it on my upper thigh?  This was not a reg. TT it is a mini so it doesn't extend hip to hip.  He said he was trying to make the scar straight.  I'll post a picture.  It's not the end of the world of course but I'm very disappointed.

Well for someone who had a "flat" butt all my life I would kill for one like yours...I agree with your surgeon that it may be the swelling...It has only been a few days and I am sure the great results will surface.
