Hold on!  You don't automatically need an anchor cut just to get definition.  That's where the lipo comes in.  Take a look at my surgeon, Dr. Larry Lickstein's, site:  www.cscmd.com, and look at cleosmom's photos.  No anchor cut.  I'm going to try to get some photos up this weekend.  My circumferential body lift was 12/11.  I had a stomach and thighs like yours, just a little bit smaller.  I am "CUT", girl.  I have the abs indent running down my abdomen, a sexy belly button, all the fat on my flanks is gone and the saggy skin from my thighs and butt:  gone!  Many docs caution against the anchor cut as there can be healing issues where the incisions meet.  I'm not 100% certain, but I believe Dr. L. commented on this a while ago.  Wherever you go and whomever you use, please be comfortable in the skills and experience of your surgeon.  There have been some horror photos on this website.  In fact, I'm going to PM you a photo I saved.

Please, Please, Please:  educate yourself.

Terri

You are absolutely adorable!!!! I think no matter what ps you have, it will jusst be the final frosting on the already nice cake.....:) I personally think that a LBL would work well on your. I did not have to do the anchor cut and everything looks really good....I know Michelle 123 has posted her most recent LBL and spiral thigh lif pics and the transformation is amazing.Michelle and I went to Dr Agha in Newport Beach and he is excellent, but I have seen manu of the results for Dr S and he does awesome work also and it seems he has a fabulous bedside manner, which i thnk is a huge plus when you re post plastic surgery. Best of luck, cant wait to see the new you .......Lynette

I also have a lot of skin above my bellybutton that I am unhappy with. Dr. S recomemnded a Large Tummy Tuck for me. It's confusing now, what's the difference between large and extended?  I am concerned now, so I emailed him as I want the top taken care of too...

I think large and extended are the same thing. He told me large and it's hip to hip. I am happy and if you look at my profile I had a ton of belly. I wanted an anchor cut but I had an existing abdominal scar so we didn't do that but I am happy so far.
