Ruth,

I'm so sorry to hear you are having such difficulties.  As far as the tiredness, my doc told me that while there's not a lot of blood loss with these surgeries, there is blood in the tissue that is removed and it is not uncommon to be anemic for a couple of months afterward.  I'm sure the hematoma isn't helping your iron levels either.  I hope you get some positive resolution very soon.  I'll be thinking of you.

Terri

Hi Terri,
Very interesting.....I didn't think about the blood loss from tissue.  Although with this surgery I didn't have any tissue removed....he used it to create a "flap" for my butt augmentation.  BUT this makes perfect sense to me.
I also think I'm more tired because I only waited exactly 3 months between this one and my TT.
I will add an iron pill to my vitamins in the morning starting tomorrow.
Thanks for the great reminder!

Dear Moosie,

I'm so sorry that you're going through all of this. I know how easy it is to desire the "Perfect" body after we've lived most of our lives in a body that we hated. I've watched every program on t.v. that has to do with WLS and plastics and I was very careful to stop and have only procedures that I felt were really necessary. I saw the pain people experienced after receiving butt implants and this was something I didn't want, even though mine is as flat as a pancake. I also see that you're wanting additional sugeries after this one (possibly you're re-evaluating this).

Please know that you're PERFECT the way you are and try to find some acceptance in your amazing accomplishments. I've read your posts here and on OFF forum for so long and know your struggles and accomplishments. Please know how loved you are by so many. My heart aches for you and your pain. You'll get through this, but please take another look at your journey and know when it's time to stop.

much love to you and many prayers sent your way.

Hi Kathie,
Thanks for the note.
I'm not trying to become perfect.....just ok.  The only procedure left for me is to do my inner thighs which really, really need it and the revision to my arms (to fix the mess my original surgeon gave me).  After that I'm done.  I know my calfs really need attention but I'm not going to do anything to them....enough is enough.

If I didn't develop the hematoma with this one I'd probably be getting ready to plan the last one but i know my body and I listen to it so I will wait a little longer.....(not too much longer but a little longer)

Thanks for sharing the great advice!!!!  It's easy to get hooked on this stuff but I'm so tired of it I don't want to spend another year with surgeries and recoveries .

Thanks for all the kind words and prayers.
Take care!
Ruth

Oh Ruth, I am sorry to hear about your struggles. There is nothing worse tha these complications that take the wind out of our sails!!! I just had my revisions today ( very minor) and I'm hoping I don't develop
problems. I just wanted to send you a word of encouragemnt and my heartfelr prayers that you will not have any more problems and a quick recovery from here  on out!!! I especially praying for relief from your pain ( your are a stronger woman than me, I don't like pain so the pain meds are my friend).
