I'm sorry you're going through a rough patch, Ruth.  But, hang in there.... every day will get better.  I'm dealing with some annoying post-surgery complications (wound openings), which, like you, are causing discomfort and inconvenience as they are also in places not easily accessible so I need someone else to do it 2x a day, which pretty much prevents me from leaving the house for anything social in the evenings.  ARGH.

Sorry for complaining, but what I mean to say is that I feel your pain and understand what you're going through.  My WLS and stage 1 of PS went so smoothly with accelerated healing times, etc, that I was just hoping this third time would be a charm.  Oh well.... as I need to keep telling myself what I told you... "every day will get better... every day will get better... every day will get better" : )

Hugs,

Michelle

Sorry to hear about your wound openings.
I too have had really great recoveries up until now so I was expecting the same....oh well...so much for my silly plans.  I actually thought it would be no big deal and I'd go in and do my last round around Feb 2nd.....Now I'm thinking NO WAY!  I really need my body to heal.

Hang in there!

Hi Ruth, I am sending good vibes and a big hug your way.  I will say a special prayer for you wishing you a speedy and safe recovery.  Take it easy and try to get your protein intake up, I know it's hard but you must force it down.  I miss reading all of your positive and wise advice.
