Have a date, but added more areas!
So, my surgery is on 1/23...I am super excited! When I went for my final consult (I am using a resident program and finally seeing the chief) he decided that instead of a tt, he wants to do a belt lipectomy, I think same as lbl. My concern is my inner thighs, but he said he needs to get rid of the extra skin/fat about my butt. He will be doing lipo on my inner thigh. I am just worried that my inner will see no improvement and the lipo will only create looser skin. Will my butt go flatter? I have a pretty good size now...LOL Also, how much longer is the lbl recovery? Does anyone wish instead of just a tt, they would've went the lbl route? I have never thought I needed the lbl, so I was surprised. Any feedback on this is appreciated, I was ready for my tt and bl and now I am going a little further than expected. So, yes now I am a little nervous.
The one good this is Dr. Zachary at Weiss Memorial is going to be the chief of surgery. So I am really excited about that.

Well, I saw a few plastic surgeons, one wanted to to a tt and lipo in the flanks area. The other, Dr. Agha, said I would be unhappy with that as my skin was stretched out and had lost alot of it's elastisity which meant that lipo would not work in those areas, but rather would create a cottage cheese look...yuk, I went for the LBL and at the last minute decided to have a moderate amount of fat augmentation to the buttock area so it wouldn't be flat. I had/have plenty of booty but didn't want a flart booty nor did I want a j-lo but ( well at least any more than I already have) It sounds like your surgeon knows what would be the best for you....go with it if you trust him and have confidence in him and the team. I don't care for the look of women who get a tt, but don't address the rear and hip area, although each person must do what they are comfortable with....you can ask to be a friend and look at my before and afters. Good luck.Lynette

You look awesome, you sent me your pictures privately before. But, I did not know you had the lbl. Did it make any difference with your thighs what so ever? Do you have any pictures so I can see your thighs? Also, how is the scar above your butt? I had him draw a line and he said it would be right above my crack...LOL
Good luck on your surgeries. I'm have an LBL and BL on January 14th. I've heard the LBL recovery is a little longer. There has been a lot of variation from person to person on this board. Some are back to work at desk jobs in 2 weeks, others stay off a full 6 weeks. I'm planning on taking off 3 and can add more later depending on how I feel. If the doc said you need the LBL, then you should go for it. I've seen one lady on another board who only had the TT and really needed the LBL, and it created very ugly "dog ears" on her hips that she had to have removed later and she said she did regret not getting the full LBL. But again, it all just depends on your body makeup. Your but will probably be a little flatter..but should also be "perkier" since they lift it in the process of the LBL.
Well - I NEED the whole LBL - but my insurance covers the TT, and that's all I have the money for now - so I'll be doing it in 2 stages, TT first, then the rest of the LBL with thighs and BA/BL down the road.
Personally I wished I could have done it all at the same time....
