Silicone sheets...self adhesive??? NOT !!

These darn things are a pain it the rear end to apply (Scar FX silicone brand sheets). Just a FYI, they don't stick to you like they say they do. Make sure you buy the tape that can be purchased with them. This will help with getting where you want them.

?? for sheet vets...has anyone used them for their small thigh lift? I tried..it was pretty comical. I felt more taped up with these than I did with the original bandages..LOL. I am thinking I may need to use the Scar Esthetique cream that should come in soon since this area is not easy to adhere sheets to...

Humph! They make it all seem so easy :-)

Yep, I put them on right after the shower..just patted the scars dry with no lotion in the area. With tape, the TT sheet is on nice and tight which is good. Gave up on thigh ones.

I have read here that the CVS brand was the best. How many weeks out before your doctor said you could start them...I am itching to start!!!!

I was told once the incisions were healed and not scabby anymore which was 4 weeks for me. I have been using the CVS this last week while waiting for the Scar FX. Didn't notice much of a difference in those....

I use Biodermis brand, and it sticks like white on rice.  One set lasts me a month.

I just may try them once these are no longer good...They were expensive so I am going to give em a try. Were you able to use the Biodermis on the thighs?

I used them on my panniculectomy scars --

I can tell you now that the area where they tend to rub off is my upper belly -- ONLY when I am turning my bra around to put it on (kwim?).  They re-adhere immediately, but they do get pushed around.

So I'm not sure how well any adhesive silicone will be, if they are on a place on your body where there is friction.

I used Bio Oil... and have NO scars... I did my research on those sheets and strips... they're expensive and no guarantee...
