Im pre-op WLS, so I havent lost any weight yet.  Im wondering, does everyone need plastic surgery after WLS?  Like, is it 100% that I will have loose skin to contend with?  I just want to make sure I can start saving my pennies for plastic surgery if it will be necessary.  What are the most common procedures needed?

It depends on the person and were they are in life...I would say 95% of the people I have seen lose weight could use some type of plastic surgery but some bounce back...I have seen very few look as if they never were big but that is far in between...I knew before GBS that my arms would be an issue, tummy as well, and of course the breast...I would just start saving up just in case...

BTW: I contacted plastic surgeons prior to having GBS and have a consult on 01/12...I am looking to have my plastics done in May so need to know exactly what to expect financially...I am leaning towards Dr. Sauceda in Mexico but also checking locally...Good luck.

I didn't NEED ps, but I sure wanted it.  My arms were so baggy, and my thighs are the worst.  I got my tummy done, covered by insurance, and paid for the arms myself at the same time.  It has been a really rough recovery, so as much as I dislike the looks of my thighs, I may never get the courage to do them.  I hear they are the worst surgery...Good luck on your journey!
