HOW NORWAY IS BEATING MRSA.

In the U.S, it's obvious that overprescribing of antibiotics by doctors (and expectations of same from patients) is responsible for a huge problem with "superbugs."

In the third world, and particularly Latin America, you can simply walk into a pharmacy and shop for whatever you want.

Whereas we spend billions on advanced drugs, and even more in lost lives and money treating hospital acquired infections, in Noway they have come up with a commonsense set of solutions:

They simply limit doctors' prescribing practices, manage patient expectations, provide paid sick leave, and keep infected healthcare workers home.
