You may want to consider Mitchell Krieger of Krieger and Goldberg in Fairfax VA. Bit away from you but Dr Krieger is a specialist with WLS. He has written a book on WLS and Plastic surgery. What a wow moment to know that is guy gets us. He is not agressive and listens to what your out look is. Fair Oaks Hospital is the best.
Hope you find someone in Md. Good luck

Hi Char,
I love my PS. My WLS surgeon gave me the names of six surgeons, but said if I was looking for his opinion in expertise and bedside manner, he recommended Dr. Larry Lickstein. He is the first and only doc I saw. I had a circumferential body lift and breast lift on December 11th. First, my husband and I went to a seminar then scheduled an appointment with him. He spent over an hour with us evaluating me, explaining why he thought those two procedures were right for me, what my other options would be and the results I could expect from them, showed me before and afters of patients, answered a bunch of questions, and never once made us feel like we were on the clock --consultation was free. I am so pleased with my results to date and my incisions. He spent a lot of time marking me up before surgery, getting me at just the right tightness. My incisions are narrow and straight, no puckers or dog ears. I've seen some pics of people whose incisions are all over the place, like a drunken ant trail. I am symetrical and straight. I've had two RNs tell me they've never seen such good work. We were instantly comfortable with him and his staff is truly caring and nice. Finally, his credentials and prior experience are impeccable.
He is in practice with Dr. Michael Cohen at the Cosmetic Surgery Center of Maryland. For surgeries that do not require a hospital, they have a certified ambulatory surgery suite and use only board-certified anesthesiologists and certified surgical RNs.

Best wishes, and if you have any specific questions, please don't hesitate to PM me.
