Silicone Scar Sheets

I absolutely cannot believe the difference in just 4 days of using the CVS brand of Silicone Scar Sheets!! I used some of the Dr Blaines after my BA and they were good, but these have been amazing on my TT scar.

They look kind of like a cloth type band aid and measure 1.5" X 2.75". It takes 7 of them to go across my belly with a little overlap on each. They come in a box of 28 for 24.99. I take them off to shower and stick a corner to the bathroom mirror and after I am dry, put them back on. They stick as well as the first day so far.

My entire incision line is flat and looks like a line across me. Even the "points" at the ends that were sticking out are flat!! I will post some almost 4 week pictures later today

I just posted my 'almost' 4 week pictures..... They say you can use these on old or new scars. I have only been using them for a few days.

Glad to hear a store brand works.  Can you wash these?  How long are they supposed to last?

thanks  Lin

Yes, you can wash them. The directions say to wash them daily and each sheet can be used for 3-4 days. I haven't washed them and will use them longer than the 3-4 days (probably a week). That should give me a month from this box.

As soon as the wounds are healed "Helps prevent the formation of scars on newly healed wounds", can also be used on existing scars.

Yep, I love them!!!  I used them on my original breast reduction and they did wonders on the incision.  I'm a believer!
