Disappointed with results

I had my tummy tuck, breasts lift with implants and lipo on flanks and inner thighs four months ago.  I was happy with my results originally because I kept telling myself I will have the final results in six months and everything will look the way it suppose to look.

Well four months post op and I am not going to continue to lie to myself.  My breast are not sitting up like they should and I still have the big chest that looks like pecs instead of breast.  I look at other post-op pictures of people who had implants and theirs look so natural (my impants are under the muscle) and mine still looks like they need to drop, but I am afraid they have dropped as much as they are going to drop.

My belly looks like I still have love handles on the side, which makes me sad to see.

On my last post op visit in November, my surgeon told me he wanted to do a revision to my breast (lift them) and belly when I reach 6 months post-op.  I guess I have no other choice but to get cut again.  I am so disappointed.

Have anyone felt this way after having plastic surgery?

Hi Muffin.  I am sorry to hear about your plastic surgery disappointments.  I hope everything will work out for you in the future if you decide to have a revision.

My surgeon did tell me the revision is free on his end, but I do have to pay the hospital and the anesthesiologist.  He did say he will fix the love handles and the breast during the revision.

Yes, that is usually the way all surgeons do their revisions. You have to pay for the anesthesioligist and the place of the surgery and their work is free. Good luck on your revisions.
I understand not wanting to go through surgery again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Happy 2010!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 Hi Sherline,

Sorry to hear that things aren't as you had hoped. I remember you because our surgeries were similar except I did not have implants with my BL. We had surgery about 4 days apart. Who is your surgeon?? I am also having some minor revisions on Jan 12th, but am  happy with most of my ps...I just wanted to say that although you are not happy about your results, you look adorable ( and tiny) in your pictures. Good luck as your move forward from here!!!!

I am looking to have surgery in the next 4-5 months and I am definitely preparing myself to have good results as well as not so good results...It is a concern but unfortunately you never know how you will feel about it until after the fact...Good luck with your revisions and I wish you the best.

Wow! You look beautiful, I know you are proud of your successful weight loss.  Keep up the good work and good luck on your plastic surgery journey.

I knew from reading on this board that I might have to go back for a revision.  Everybody has their own idea of perfection, but I was never looking for perfection, just better than before.  Trust me, my belly and breasts look 100% better than before, but I just hate to be cut again.  When I have surgery it takes a lot out of me mentally and physically.

Anyway, take care and keep up the good work.

Sorry you are not happy with your results.
It's not uncommon to need some minor revisions (and normally the surgeon does not charge but you do have to pay Hospital and Anesthesia expenses).  I hope your revisions won't have to be too extensive!

Best wishes for better results!!!
