I am thinking about ( dreaming about) A breast lift with implant, and a tummy tuck.  I work in retail and do a lot of lifting  ( not heavy) and shifting, I am on my feet a lot. Is 3 weeks off enough time?  I am new to this job and do not want to take off any more time then needed, but also if I put this kind of money into surgery I want time to heal properly.
Thanks

Three weeks would probably be enough to return to work with NO lifting.  Hopefully they will work with you in that regard.  Of course, your surgeon will have an opinion on this and I would heed his advice :)

I just had a tummy tuck and brachioplasty (3 weeks ago), and at 3 weeks out I am allowed to go back to work (I have an office job) and lift up to 15 pounds.    I have a friend that had a breast lift and implant done before my surgery.   Where her implant was placed below the muscle she was still very sore weeks after her surgery.

Don't get me wrong I am sore due to swelling, but not the same kind of muscle sore she experienced in her chest.   The best person to answer this for you will be your PS at your consult.  In the mean time we will all chime in with our two cents :)

Best of luck and keep us posted!!!!

I had a TT, BL/BA under muscle and inner thigh lift on Dec. 16th. I can lift 5 pounds...not having pain just soreness. On days where I do a lot...drive, clean, stand...I pay for it that night. I ran/walked 1 to 2 miles a day for 1 month, tripled my Vitamin C and did the Arnica and Bromelain regimen before...the more you prepare your body, the better the recovery will be.... I also increased protein before and now. Hope that helps......Holli

Holli, I had my implants under the muscle too; I know you are only a few weeks out, but do you like your new breast?
