Anyone regret a breast lift?

And wish you had an augmentation? For the most part I think I will be happy cause I have a lot of tissue and I had a friend do it and it looks wonderful and I've seen two pics of those here who did lifts. WDYT? I can't really second guess too much but still.

My PS felt that with the stretching of the tissue that I already have a lift would be better than augmentation.  She said that you can just end up with saggy implants.

Howdy!  I had a BL done in May - before WLS, I was a 56L - so I had a LOT to 'bring back north'...... I didn't want an implant because I just didn't like the idea of it - and heck, I'm over 30 with a kid - who tha heyl expects perky ta-tas???  LOL

At FIRST, I was very unhappy with it - seemed like it wasn't enough fat left to make my breasts look real - but after 3 months or so, they really 'settled' in and took on a very nice shape and I love my 40D ta-tas now!  LOL  I think with the BL you have to be more patient with the healing to see what shape they will become, whereas with the augmentation, you have a good idea almost right away.

I don't just have issues, I have subscriptions!  I'm saving on the newsstand price.......

I had a BL October 21 with NO augmentation and I couldn't be happier!  I'm 61 years old and just wanted the girls back where they belong ... not obviously larger than ever!  I was so happy when I had my brachioplasty but I'm even more happy with the BL.  Barb

Leah, I was the same way you are.  I didn't want implants.  but after Dr. S. looked at my breasts he told me that I would be to small for my frame so I had implants.  and OMG.  I love them.  I don't have ***** boobs. He made them the same size as the bra that I was wearing.  I used to roll them up into a D or DD and my bra fits perfectly with the new implants.  I didn't want them, but I left the decision up to Dr. S. and he most certainly did right by me.

Did that cost additional? I am REALLY tight on the money I needed so I can't charge anything extra. I have tissue. They aren't empty skin like the insides of my thigh,

Leah, when Dr. S. held my breast in his hand he said the tissue would fill about 1/2 a D cup bra.  So I guess there was some tissue there.  He told me after the operation that he didn't take out any tissue and remember, he worked on my breasts for 5 hrs to get them right.  So maybe I am not a good example.  I just wanted you to know that I was the same way and didn't want implants, but I am so happy that I got them.  I believe it cost me an additional 2K but you need to ask Dr. S. about that.

Thanks. I have tissue so I 'd be suprised if he couldn't make it work but I don't care if I go down to a full B cup. I am not against implants. I think they look amazing but there is simply no way I can afford extra. We have our own business and my husband is a pastor. We have a strict cash only budget.

My surgeon does not like to do a lift and augmentation at the same time with WLS patients.  He suggested we do the lift and then if I wanted augmentation we would do it.  I am very happy with my results.  Honest to goodness I do not think I need the implants.   While I not huge on top I am in a C-D cup.

I just had a breast reduction and lift done a little over 2 weeks ago.  I'm still in a binder right now and haven't really tried on a bra.  I was a 36G (Long)  I went to victorias secret and put a 36C up to my binder and it was too small.  I could either be a 36D or possibly a 38C.  I'm going on Monday to actually get fitted and try on new bras.  So far I have no regrets.  They sure are perky and standing at attention for sure!  They are very very firm right now but I'm sure that's from all the trauma.  I'm curious how they will look when all the swelling goes down.  I do have it in the back of my mind of possibly get implants when I go to Dr S in the spring.  I am very strapped for cash too and need to save all the money I can.  I feel I would rather spend any extra money I have on the rest of my body rather than the boobies at this point.  I'd like to have some lipo on my outer thighs and maybe get the whole LBL done rather than just a TT.  I think if I get rid of my muffin top, then my boobs will be more in proportion with the rest of me and theyboobies will look larger.  At least that's what I'm hoping for.  Because since I got the girls reduced it does seem like my belly looks pretty large.  But maybe that's because I can actually see the muffin top now without the girls in the say.  Good luck with everything!!
