How do you decide on implants with Dr S?
I have so many questions and ideas about implants that I am unsure how this can be determined prior to going to see Dr. Sauceda. Can he really make recommendations about this based on photos? Does he take our wishes into consideration or just tell you what is best for you? Does he do the Cohesive Gel (gummy bear) implants and will he put them under the muscle if you request it?

Yes to all of the above! . He can make general recommendations based on your pics, but when you actually get there, he gives you recommendations the night before surgery. However, he will honor your wishes, even if it is not what he thinks is the best thing. He does use gummy's and will go both over and under. It all depends on your specific needs.
We have a group for Dr. Sauceda patients (both pre op and post op. I am still pre op..) Feel free to come visit! You can find a TON of information there!!

I recommend doing some research on over vs. under. There are pros and cons to both. I thought I wanted under until I did a lot more research. From my pics Dr. S. suggested over but said if I really wanted under he'd do it but felt over would provide a better result for me.
Just Google "breast implants over vs. under". When Dr. S does over the muscle he told me he does the a subfascial, which is a sort of compromise between the two. Although it is thin layer of muscle, it is usually substantial enough to provide a layer behind the breast and in front of the implant to soften the look.
