drains are gone
All the stitches are out. No more staples and best of all no drains. The stitches and staples actually hurt more than the drains coming out. I was prepared for it to be so much worse than it was. I did take my pain meds before they started. I am sure that helped some. It is such a relief not to have the drains. I just have to give everything time to heal. I have to say it has not been as hard as I expected. I won't say it was easy but I have had much tougher surgeries. I worry now that the next one will be my worst. I am trying to get insurance help on the tummy. Insurance may be the hardest part.
