In office repair done
Background
I had a LBL with anchor cut TT at the end of Sept. The point where the vertical and horizontal incision meet did not heal well in one area. I had a hole about the size of a silver dollar that needed to heal. It was pretty much all healed up last week and I had no issues or infections.
Revision
I had my in-office "revision" done on Thursday. He froze my abdomen, cut out the yucky red scar and re-sewed it. It looks really really nice! The incisions are small and match my other ones, I'm really pleased.
Word of advice though. Don't do an in-office procedure by yourself. You may think you're all brave and stuff and don't need anyone, but follow my advice and take someone with you. It's a lot to be awake for. You may not "feel" it but you hear it (and smell it). It was stupid for me to do that alone. I was shaking when I left (from gripping the sides of the chair/bed), I started to cry as I was driving home, just from the overwhelming experience of it all, I couldn't contain it.
The procedure its self wasn't bad, just a lot to go through without a hug! All is well now =) I am really looking forward to this healing up so I have soak in the tub again!

Glad to hear it's all over and done with and the results are good. Sorry you had to go through it without support, good advice always to bring a friend when going for anything other than routine appointments. I find not only is it nice to have someone to drive you home but also another ear as it's sometimes hard to remember all that is said and what to ask when you are the patient.

Oh you brave thing.....I don't think I could do it.....I take that back, I KNOW I can't do it. They will have to knock me out or give me happy gas or something.!
SO GLAD you like the results. ...thanks for the heads-up (I have a small revision coming up in the future)
