How did you decide on what part of the body to do plastics on first.   I keep going back and forth.

Discuss what bothers you most with your surgeon....you can make the final decision with His/her input.
I actually started on top and worked my way down.  I knew I wanted my arms done first because I wanted them healed for the summer (I had huge arms).

It really is mostly personal preference but you should ask your surgeon for their recommendation...they can combine some areas easier than others.

Best wishes on your journey!!

My PS didn't have a preference and was actually OK with doing the BA and TT at the same time. I decided to do them separately and did the BA first because that bothered me more than the belly.

I had a hard time deciding what to do first. My doctor doesn't like to do too much at one time because it slows the healing. I knew I was going to want to wear shorts and a bathing suit this spring so my legs needed help. I had heard it was the worst surgery for a lot of people so I figured lets get it out of the way first. It hasn't been bad at all. I knew I had so much to do I needed to do something else at the same time so my eyes bothered me and I got them done. I almost had a face lift too but that would have added too much time under anesthesia. I wanted to see results. My tummy butt boobs can be hidden under clothes so I will get them later. I tell people I started at both ends and am working my way to the center. I plan on doing the tummy and maybe the face next time. I am thinking about a lower body lift but not sure what I want to do about my butt yet.
Its a hard decision but you have to figure out what is best for you.

When I had my first consultation with my doctor he asked me what I wanted done and then to rank them in order of what bothered me the most.   For me it was my face!!!  It's the first impression I make on people and I couldn't cover it up with clothes!!!!   So based on that we made a 3 stage plan.  1.  face/neck/brow lift   (July 2009) 2.  BL/LBL/butt aug (Dec. 2009) 3. arm lift and inner thigh lift (2010).

Good luck!!

My decision was based on the possibility that I would "chicken out" after the first surgery and may have only one procedure; and if that was the case what did I want done the most???

For me.... I wanted to top half done the most (neck/face lift/ brachioplasty/ breast lift). Although it was painful I did go through with stage 2 (lower body lift) a few months later. I did what was right for me. My husband thought I should have done the tummy first, but only YOU can decide.

Everything was $28,000 (neck & lower face also).

I equate the cost like that of a new car. I LOVE my new body much more than I have ever loved a new car however! Well worth every penny and every bit of pain.
