Well I am going in tomorrow to do a BA and a nipple lift.

This was to funny. I asked my friend how many cc's did she get and she told me that she got 640 I was like omg that is huge.  I am getting 500.  She told me to take my tightest tank top and wear it while I am fitted so I made another appointment and did the fitting It was still a little big for my liking but the surgeon said that I should go that big at the least because I need to fill up the skin.  Then when I was wearing my tank top I was like.  "Are they going to hang that low?" He was like maybe a little bit more up but pretty close.  I asked how much will it cost to lift them a little.  He told me that all I need is a little nipple lift not a full lift.  So that is what I am doing.  A full lift I think would be $3K but the nipple lift will be $1K I can afford that I think.  Thank god for care credit at least I can pay half with this tax return and next years tax return for the following year.

Well my question is does anyone have any advise that you would like to give me.  Like how long did it take for you to drive?, put on a shirt that is not buttoned up the front?  When can i lift my hands over my head?  Any advise would be awesome.

Thanks guys!!

Aloha,
Asia

I don't know how much the nipple lift changes things because I didn't have that. Are you having over or under the muscle placement of the implants?

I had over and recovery was very easy. I drove at 4 days, but I think I could have sooner. They told me as soon as I was off the pain meds that I could drive. I had full mobility very quickly, getting dressed, reaching etc was no problem. Rolling over in bed and sleeping on my side took about a week or 10 days.

Check back once you have the new girls and let us know how it went!! :)

Hi Asia; congratulations on your upcoming surgery.  I had my bl/ba on August 24th.  I was not able to drive for two weeks even though I wasn't really comfortable until my third week (I drive a big SUV).  The discomfort of driving was turning the wheel, my breasts (450CC) was really in the way before they settled.

I was able to lift my arms slightly above my head at two weeks post op, but I also had an extended tummy tuck so that could have impacted me not raising my arms.  I began putting on t-shirts at 1 week post-op, I just didn't raise my arms up high.

One of the best advice I was given regarding my BA was to massage my breast daily.  That really helped with the settling of the implants.

Good luck
