four days out and surprised

 Its day four and I am still not seeing a lot of swelling. I am amazed. The pain is not bad at all. I guess I was expecting it to be so much worse. My thighs are sore and I get the occasional sting but overall it is not bad. I do not like having the drains. They are not producing much  but I am sure they are helping with the swelling. My eyes are not painful but this morning I rubbed one corner as I was waking up and that hurt. I do not think I did any damage.

I am doing so much better than I thought I would be that I am ready to start phase two.

Awesome for you!!!  Drains are the worst, but they will be gone before long!

Yeah for you Susie!!! It's great that you aren't swelling, and the drains ARE the pits, but necessary

Yippee no swelling!!

I had no swelling after my Tummy Tuck 3 months ago.  I'm finding each surgery is different.

I hope you get your drains out soon....it's so much easier without having them dangling off you.

Congrats on the swelling! I definately had alot early on and still some but not as bad. Drains are a pain though!

I'm really happy for you Susie, I have'nt been so good...still cant eat.  Where did you go and have the surgery at...I dont think I'm going back to Springfield...Good luck to you,...Keep me posted..I helps so much to get good news about everyone else....  Candy
